I thought I’d share.  They’re totally random.
(CAUTION: graphic photo not for the weak stomach about 1/2 way down.)
Also, the dates on the pics are totally off, ignore them.

Hubby learned that drugged horses are funny...except not as much when you get the bill.

#11 on my 101 list has been fulfilled. As you can tell, #10 has not.

Super athletic, quiet 2006 Thoroughbred gelding.  Very flashy grey roan with four whites, stripe, and long, dark, full tail–will get noticed in the ring!  Free jumps beautifully & shows terrific jumping potential.  Level-headed with a good mind.  Well-suited for hunters with his lovely, engaged, flat-kneed movement.  Would also make a wonderful dressage mount.

Goes quietly in a bridle.  Well mannered, calm demeanor, extremely easy to catch, feet handled regularly.  Incredibly sweet and friendly, very sociable guy who gets along with everybody–mares, geldings, people, etc.  Easy keeper.  UTD on Coggins, shots, de-worming, and hoof care.

15 hh and GROWING!

Hunter or dressage prospect, but would excel at anything.

See video (link below–turn up your volume!) for more photos, jumping video, and more!

Sorry for the unashamed plug.  I spent all afternoon & evening making this video, so by golly I’m going to market it all over the net!

Late, I’ve been obsessing over dogs.  Yes, yes, we have two at home.  But, I’ve always (for as long as I can remember) wanted to train a SAR (Search and Rescue) dog and join a SAR team.  I mean, just think–it’s one of the ultimate dog/human relationships.  I think it was the book Michelle and Me by Tom Shelby that solidified my dream.

So, I’ve been wasting a lot of time browsing dogs online lately.  I know I have better things to do with my time, but what can you say to faces like this:

Andi of Buckeye Border Collies

You’d never guess, but the puppy above was actually born blind.  Isn’t it hard to tell?  He has so much life & happiness in those eyes!

I think the ultimate fruition of this dream would be to find a Belgian Shepherd partner.  According to “your purebred puppy” dot com (what the *%# kinda website name IS that, anyway!?), Belgian Shepherds are,

the most honest dog breed you’ll ever find.”

Here’s a photomontage I found and loved:

And this guys is IN LOVE with his job (and very good at it, too!):

OK, my lunch hour is up.  Time to stop drooling and get back to work! 🙂
